A small village lies next to a power plant and a transformation station. Here you can always hear the electricity buzzing in the power lines. The river and the fields around the power plant belong to a nature reserve, the heat that the power plant produces attracts many species of birds and fish. The title ”Thick Weather” comes from an old belief that when the weather is ”thick”, electricity can spread from the wires through the air, clouds and water.
